SAMShed is where members can socialise with other members, pursue hobbies, pastimes and interests, learn new skills, practise and pass on existing skills, and promote their own and other member’s health and well-being.

Strathaven & Avondale Men’s Shed is now running.
We have been meeting weekly since begining of October and will continue to meet on Wednesdays at 2pm at the Drawing Room, Strathaven.
Talks and events to be arranged.
We are searching for a permanent base to allow socialising and have workshops.
We are registered as a charity in Scotland. SC054808.

SamShed is a new initiative, and we need your support.
We are working to create a place in Strathaven where men can come together, learn new skills, share stories, and support one another. A lifeline for those facing isolation, retirement, bereavement, or simply looking for purpose and connection in their community.
Every donation helps us towards our goal. With your support, SamShed can change lives one conversation, one project, and one cup of tea at a time.

If you are a UK taxpayer, the UK Government will pay us an additional 25% of any donation you make.

If you are making a single donation, and would like to help us claim Gift Aid on this donation, please send an email to shed@samshed.org as follows:
